Renee Davis

A native to North Carolina I live in Raleigh, North Carolina with my husband, two daughters and our yellow lab. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Commercial Design from East Carolina University and studied fine art in Gubbio, Italy. In my professional career I've held numerous roles in large corporate organizations as a graphic designer, art manager, marketing manager, and in my current role I work closely with a team of talented creatives. Painting allows me to step away from the corporate setting and connect with my community and beyond. Surrounded by many smart and driven women in my family the passion for design goes back two generations. My Grandmother was the foundation of my creativity. She was a true artist with lots of love folded into everything she touched from the dresses she made, the fishpond she designed in her flower garden, the numerous quilts created from leftover fabric, even the meals she prepared. She had no clue how she was shaping my life as I watched her give of her time and talents everyday. I continuously feel the nudge to share my artistic gifts as my Grandmother did. Honeyluv Design was inspired by my Grandmother Honeycutt and her abundant love.
